100 Degrees CPU help

    Simple. reseat the cooler and check for a firm fit. also you should have thermal paste spread all voer the CPU actually. having too much does not give worse performance to a specific extend.
    Update your bios with the "overheating" CPU (and check at the motherboard ack if its actually warm there, might just be the thermal sensor going crazy)

    if its doing nothing with the old cpu, check your pins on the socket. Intel sockets can be fucked up very easy.

    most likely ran it too hot and it burnt CPU

    who assembled PC u did?
    did u use stock fan with the CPU?
    did u install the paste correctly

    So the problem with 100 degree was just cpu cooler paste i completely forgot
    The other with the pc Wouldnt start - Got a local pc 'geek' to look at it, and He somehow got it to work, dont know How haha

    is your cpu now fully functional after forgetting the cooler paste and trying to run it for some time?
